OBITUARY:
Former Kingman Woman Came to Kansas in 1880 and Lived Here Until Death
Mrs. W. A. Priddy, a resident of Kansas since 1880, passed away on March 13 1939, at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Roseltha May Varner was born in LaSalle County, Illinois, on July 25, 1874. She came to Kansas with her parents in 1880 and continued to live here the remainder of her life.
She was married to William Archelous Priddy on February 11, 1891 at Kingman and to this union eight children were born. One child, Addie Francis, died in infancy. Mr. Priddy passed away June 22, 1935.
Included in the survivors are the seven children, Oscar Priddy and Wilber Priddy of Salina. Birtie Priddy of Colorado, and Mrs. Jeanette Kelley, Estel Priddy , Louis Priddy and Mrs. Myrtle Sweeney of Kanopolis; one sister, Mrs. Buchanan of Hutchinson, two brothers, Bert and Arthur Varner of Kingman...
Burial was in the Kanopolis Cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Oscar David Priddy, 62, died at 9:30 am Friday in Ashbury Hospital, a few hours after entering the hospital. Mr. Priddy was a Kansas Power and Light Company employee.
Born July 16 1893 in Kingman, he had lived in Salina since 1932. He was a member of the Assemby of God Church.
Surviving are the widow, Freda: one daughter, Mrs. Alberta May Napier; three sons, David William of Stratton, Nebraska; Alfred Earl of Lindsborg, and Leo David of Emporia....two brothers Wilbur and Louis of Kanopolis, and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Fisher of Kanopolis, Bertie of Denver, and Estel of Climax, Colorado.
Burial will be in Kanopolis Cemetery.

OBITUARY: From Salina Journal, Jan. 16 1969
Wilbur H. Priddy, 73, Saline County courthouse custodian for 21 years, died Wenesday at Asbury hospital.
Born Nov 26, 1895 at Kingman, he came to Salina from Kanopolis in 1927 and worked in the Weber flour mills and for the Kansas Power and Light Co., before becoming courthouse custodian in 1946. He retired in 1937.
Mr. Priddy was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kansas Peace Officers Association and Odd Fellows lodge. He was active in directing the Odd Fellows recreation dances.
Survivors include the widow, Iva , of the home; three sons, Ralph E.; Earl K, Lincolnville, and Harold J., Denver, Colorado, a daughter Mrs. Murl Anderson of Bennington; three brothers, Louis of Kanopolis; Bertie of Denver, Colorado, and Estil of Frisco, Colorado; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Fisher, of Kanopolis.
Burial will be in Mulberry cemetery in Ellsworth County.

Louis L. Priddy, 82, died Monday at Villa Hope Good Samaritan Resthome, Ellsworth. Born Jan 31 1898 at Kingman, he married Clara Edenburn Aug 9, 1924 at Lincoln. He was a retired salt miner.
Survivors: widow, of the home; son: Arthur, Russell; daughters: Mrs. Donna Hoffman, Minneapolis; Mrs. Kathryn Larimore, Canton, Texas; brothers: Bertie, Denver; Estelle, Longmount, Colorado;
Burial will be at Kanopolis Cemetery.

OBITUARY:
Mrs. Myrtle Priddy Fisher, 73, a former resident of Kanopolis, died at 9:30 pm Sunday at Evergreen Manor, where she lived the past three years. Born April 4 1900, at Kingman, she was married to Benjamin Fisher who died in 1951.
She was a member of the Kanopolis United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons: Louis Bell, Loyd Bell, both of Whitehall, Michigan; Elbert Bell, Ellsworth; daughter: Mrs. Helen Hale; brothers: Louis Priddy, Kanopolis; E. J. Priddy, Denver.
Burial will be in the Kanopolis Cemetery.
