BIOGRAPHICAL:
Johann Georg Uhl (b. 1620) was a sergeant-major in the Bavarian infantry "Holtz". He later was an innkeeper at the sign of the Goldener Lowe in Bretten. He was also a member of the municipal council. Son of Andreas Uhl in Regensburg and of Catharine. He was of reformed religion.

BIOGRAPHICAL:
He was a butcher in Bretten, Germany and an innkeeper of the Goldener Lowe Inn.
In his old age he was recepted into the Spital (hospital and home of the aged) He was also known as Hans Georg Uhl. He was born Reformed and was a Lutheran when he died.
