Willie C. Buchanan, 77, retired farmer, died in Grace Hospital at 5:53 pm Friday after several years illness. He was born in Coles County, Illinois October 21 1875, came to Kansas with his parents settling near Varner (Barnard), was married to Eva Varner in 1897, had lived here many years.

Funeral for Mrs. Evanina Buchanan, who died Tuesday at Broadacres. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery.
Member of the Baptist Church.
She was born Sept 10 1877 in Chatsworth, Illinois, and had lived in Hutchinson since 1925. Her husband W.C. died in 1952.

OBITUARY:
Funeral Services will be at 2 pm today for William O. Buchanan, 68, who died Saturday evening in a local hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.
A native of Varner, Kansas, he came to Enid 37 years go. He was a packer mechanic employed by the Pillsbury Milling Company for many years until his retirement in 1962. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow Ada of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Hilda Mae) Pribil of Enid; two sons Merlin of Wichita, Kansas, and Carl of Enid; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Tedder of Yates Center, Kansas, Mrs. Otis Honis of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Dean Allen of Hutchinson, Kansas; two brothers, Owen of Wichita and Charley of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by a son Raymond in 1946

Florence E. Allen, 79, died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Center, Lyons. Born Florence E. Buchanan, Aug. 20, 1901, in Kingman, she married Dean D. Allen, Sept 29 1919, at Kingman. He died Mar 8, 1978. She moved to Hutchinson in 1928 from Argonia.
She was a member of the Peniel Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson.
Survivors: sons: Vernon L. Allen, Blue Hill, Neb.; Kenneth C. Allen, North Pleasant; Cecil J. Allen, South Hutchinson; daughter: Bonnie Boswell, Ardmore, Oklahoma, brother: Charles Buchanan, Owen Buchana, Wichita; sister: Mrs. Peggy Tedder, Yated Center....

Mrs. May Oliver Honius, 63, of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, a former resident of Hutchinson, died Monday, September 4 at Grantsburg after a short illness. Born September 6 1904 in Kingman. She was married to Otis Honius February 6, 1927 in Chicago.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors: the widower, of the home: Sisters Mrs. Ethel Allen, Mrs. Peggy Tedder of Yates Center: Brothers Charles Buchanan of Hutchinson, Owen Buchanan of Wichita, Kansas.
Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Glenna Faye McAdams, 26, wife of Ray McAdams died yesterday afternoon at a local hospital. She is survived by her husband and three small sons, Eugene, Virgil and Lloyd; by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Buchanan of this city; three sisters: Mrs. D. D. Allen of Conaway Springs, Mrs. Otis Honius of Cypher, Minnesota, and Mrs. L. B. Tedder of this city; and by three brothers, W. O. Buchanan of Perry, Oklahoma and (Omer Osker?) and Charles Buchanan of this city.
Mrs. McAdams was born near Varner and has lived in this vicinity all her life. She was married in March 1926 to Ray McAdams
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Charles Buchanan, 74, died Nov. 17, 1986, at Huchinson Hospital. Born Nov. 28, 1911, at Varner, he married Helen Clifford Aug. 17, 1935, at Lyons. She died Sept, 10, 1977. He was a mechanic and a farmer, retiring in 1957, and was a resident of Hutchinson for 56 years.
Survivors: sister, Peggy Tedder, Yates Center.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
